All those who love God will be moved to document, to tell the truth and be born again through the act.
Nathania Sailor
When Nathania was 16, her English teacher invited her to research the psychological effects of predominantly white schools on Black girls to present at an education conference. That experience shaped her perspective and ignited her life’s work.
A writer and advocate for global literacy, restorative justice, and healthcare access, Nathania focuses on the communities the system often forgets. Her work is rooted in on-the-ground experience, from interning with the Hennepin County Department of Community Corrections to launching Construction Literacy, a nonprofit building libraries in Togo. Nathania’s debut book, If I Never Write Again, arrives July 2026.
A debut collection that follows in the footsteps of Audre Lorde, If I Never Write Again lives at the intersection of the intimate and the cosmological — in the biomythography tradition Lorde created.
